These are yet another ebay purchase. It's hard to see in this photo, but the kittne heels are triangular, and set at an unusual angle to the shoe. The soles are also pink. I like them for more formal occasions, like job interviews. In all honesty, I just like them at all times. I especially adore this style of shoe. I think it's an old-ish one, as I haven't ever seen them in Office, just on ebay. It must've been a farily popular shoe, as the style's available in about a million different colours and patterns. My favourite choice though isn't the black-with-pink-polka-dots, it's these:
I actually got this pair before the other ones. So far, I've worn these ones more, but to fewer interviews. It really depends on the job I'm going for. These are more 'me', but I don't want to scare potential employers off; they're perhaps a touch on the 'bags of personality' side. Sidebar: I'm growing to loathe that phrase, in terms of interview feedback, as it's usually followed by 'but they aren't going to offer you a job'. Wev. If they're intimidated by toned-down-for-the-interview me, they can't handle the everyday me.I also have these shoes in pink and silver zebra print, but no photo of them, thus far. They're also from ebay, but a bit on the small side. I'll take them to the cobblers for stretching at some point; he worked magic on my Irregular Choice creepers. Well, I think he did. I'll wear them tomorrow (with plain flats in my bag) and I'll see how I go with the crippling agony, if there's any to suffer. Beyond the regular woman-stuff.
